VICTORIA DE LEMPICKA

Victoria is Tamara de Lempicka’s grandaughter. She knew Tamara like a second mother; she is the living link to the real person Tamara was. She has many interesting stories to tell and vividly remembers her aesthetic education at the side of Tamara who took her to the best museums and Grand Hotels in Europe, explaining the qualities of the great works of art,  just as her grandmother had done with her. She sported many dresses designed and sewn by Tamara which created quite a stir in Houston where she grew up.

In 2006 she founded Tamara Art Heritage, now a part of Tamara de Lempicka Estate LLC. For the last 40 years, she has traveled to all the international venues to accompany and promote Lempicka’s retrospective exhibits. She secured several important licensing deals with Van Cleef & Arpels, and the book “Tamara de Lempicka” by Taschen. More than a hundred book covers, for publications like “Flappers”, “Art Deco” in the World’s Greatest Art series, and  “50 Art Deco Works of Art You Should Know” and books by the renowned writer Ayn Rand and “The Great Gatsby”, by Scott Fitzgerald were licensed.  She also oversaw merchandising deals for many of the products at the museum shops during Tamara’s exhibitions. She enjoys traveling,  tennis and ever new projects with Tamara’s growing popularity.

MARISA DE LEMPICKA

Marisa has fond memories of visiting her great-grandmother, Tamara, in her beautiful villa in Cuernavaca, Mexico. She was brought up and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she graduated University with degrees in Business Administration and Hotel and Restaurant Management. She has worked in the travel, real estate and entertainment industries. As President of Tamara de Lempicka Estate LLC. which she co-founded with her mother in 2019, she manages estate business as well as legal matters.

As spokesperson for the Estate, she is dedicated to protecting, promoting and sharing Tamara de Lempicka’s art and legacy throughout the world. She is actively working with Museums, Galleries, Foundations and collectors to create new and exciting exhibitions.  She has been interviewed for feature media articles by New York Art Deco Society and Paper City Magazine as well as by award-winning filmmakers Julie Rubio and Rene Cardona.

Since working with the Estate full time, she has collaborated with several publications: the new edition of Passion by Design, written by her grandmother Kizette, published by Abbeville Press of New York and the upcoming art books by prominent Polish publisher BOSZ. She has secured partnerships with the British company Flame Tree Publishing and the German company: F-1 Generation. She has worked closely with producers in USA, Europe, and Australia who are developing 2 documentaries and a feature-length movie.

She is also collaborating with an Italian/French group that is planning an immersive exhibition about the artist.

A project very dear to her heart is the Fall 2020 launch of silk scarves made in Como, Italy by a historic family-owned mill, who use the finest quality materials in a timeless tradition, with handcrafted detailing, creating unique artisanal pieces. Her hope is to create a line of products and apparel inspired by the Art and Life of Tamara de Lempicka.

She dreams, together with her mother Victoria and sister Cristina, of a Tamara de Lempicka Foundation that will help women artists and entrepreneurs around the world. We believe that “when women can use their power, they reinvest in their families and communities, making the world a better place for everyone.”

She resides in Aspen, Colorado, and in her spare time enjoys traveling, skiing, and scuba diving.

Cristina de Lempicka

Tamara once said, “I live in the margins of society, where rules don’t apply”. Cristina feels that this has been the theme of her life. She was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina and ever since she was a little girl she always enjoyed creating, painting and had a great love for animals. When she was 19 years old, she moved to New York where she attended New York University. She studied art and is a Certified Art Appraiser. After an internship at Christie’s Auction House, she focused on corporate art and was an art consultant for several major corporations. Her drive to find the life that best suited her took her to live on a Caribbean island and later to the mountains of Argentina. As she calls it “a spiritual awakening at 27” set her on her journey through different lands and monasteries.
She now has gone back to her early passion for horses and all animals. As she says, “I believe my work is empowering amazons in the making to achieve their dreams, just as my great grandmother did”.
She now dedicates her life to horses, rescuing animals and transferring that passion and knowledge to her little students. She teaches riding and relationship with the horse as well as training horses at liberty. She lives in a 1900 “Estancia” in a secluded mountainous area of Argentina with her family of rescued animals, including cats, dogs, horses and sheep.
A foundation for animal awareness and protection is definitely in her future.
